Embodied & soulful psychotherapy for humans seeking transformation

My Approach
I don’t believe people need “fixing.” I believe in the transformational power of deep witnessing. I believe folks have everything they need within them to heal, and therapy is a process of helping folks re-learn and remember their inner brilliance and power. In practice, this often involves working gently and skillingfully with defenses folks have unknowingly built to keep themselves safe and connected in the past, but which now hinder their full authentic expression in all realms of their lives, most notably in their relationships and careers.

Individual Therapy
I work with adults of any gender who seek to deepen their relationships with themselves, and with others. Folks come to me for support navigating life’s most challenging and complex times, such as the loss of a loved one, the birth of a child, despair and loneliness, anxiety and depression, major life transitions, relationship stress of any form, and past trauma(s). I gently guide folks in hearing and seeing themselves more clearly, and accessing their inner knowing and confidence. This process supports uncovering their deepest dreams and desires, and working through the barriers that prevent them from manifesting them in the world.

Men's Groups
I lead therapy process groups for men who are ready to do their own healing work, who long to feel more connected and alive, and who seek to shed the armor that society demands of them. Groups of 4-6 men meet weekly for 8-10 week series that focus on different themes surrounding masculinity. The group aims to help men see the ways they have been socialized to disconnect from themselves and others, and together learn to embody a different way of being in the world that is more joyful, alive, and authentic.
Healing is a re-weaving: a gathering up of all the pieces of a tattered, torn blanket and slowly examining each one, learning each part’s story, learning its pain, hearing its voice, remembering its beauty, and eventually hugging them close and weaving them back together again. The re-weaving is never complete, but as the pieces become known and re-woven over time, one day in the most ordinary moment you look up, and pause, because there before you is something utterly new and unexpected: a golden, luminous tapestry that is more beautiful than your wildest dreams and imagination.
